An update from the Director of Schools

Director of Schools update on March School Closure due to Covid-19.

Tomorrow will be the last day of serving the FREE breakfast and lunch this week! We will be handing out a 4 day supply of breakfast and lunch between the hours of 10 AM until 11:30 AM! Children must be present to pick up. Ages 0-18 years old. #SpreadTheWord

Based on the recommendation from Governor Lee, Moore County Schools will be closed beginning March 17th and will remain closed through March 31st.

Moore County Schools will participate in the USDA program for serving meals to children up to age 18 during the current school closure. Read more here.

Moore County Schools will remain open at this time. In partnership with local health officials, the school system has a plan of response to this situtation.
